Top 5 Tips: Marketing Your Business on Social Media

Social media and digital marketing provide cost-effective, highly targeted, measurable opportunities to engage your audience and promote your business. These are our Top 5 Tips to get you started.

Blue Moose Media

We are Saskatchewan’s leader in social media and digital marketing training, consulting and speaking.

Our workshops train businesses to understand the tools and strategies required to manage their own social media accounts, implement effective digital marketing strategies, and grow an online presence that turns goals into results. As consultants, we live and breathe social media and digital marketing, and we’ve done the work. We know what we’re doing. Unless it’s lawn bowling…we’re not very good at that.

Dana Olafson:

Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Dana knows how to work hard, have fun, stay warm and play sports. She’s always loved reading, writing, and movies, which drew her to complete her English degree, followed by a film and video diploma. Success in communications-related roles led to Dana spending nearly ten years at a Saskatchewan marketing agency, where her creative and strategic marketing abilities grew exponentially. Her strength is connecting businesses and consumers through human commonalities.

As a Digital Marketing Consultant at Blue Moose Media, Dana works to create a journey, a story, and an experience for each client to share with the world through social media.

Travis Low:

After graduating from business school at the University of Saskatchewan, Travis began to make time for his other passion, exploring the world. From his 3-month tour of South East Asia to his year-long tour of Europe and South America, Travis’s travels have taken him hiking through the Alps, biking across Iceland, and surfing in Ecuador.

For the past 10 years, Travis has advocated for people living with Parkinson’s in Saskatchewan and across Canada. As the Founder and Chair of the Lows In Motion Parkinson’s “Shaker”, he and his committee have raised over $650,000 for Parkinson’s in Saskatchewan, using social media to build awareness and drive thousands to the event. In addition to his volunteer work, Travis spent four years as the Executive Director of Parkinson Society Saskatchewan where he learned what it takes to grow an organization, lead a team and build a community of like-minded people.
